FS Green A -

Asbestos Neutralization with Energy and Hydrogen Recovery
Back
FS Green A is a unique industrial solution designed for the complete and irreversible destruction of asbestos, one of the most hazardous legacy materials of the 20th century. Unlike conventional burial methods that delay environmental risks, FS Green A neutralizes asbestos at the molecular level, transforming it into an inert and safe residue.

During the high-temperature plasma process, asbestos is broken down in a sealed chamber using a graphite electrode matrix. An organic or carbonaceous additive enhances the reaction, producing a high-calorific gas mixture. This mixture is then processed to extract electricity and hydrogen—ensuring a valuable dual return from a previously unmanageable waste stream.
Key Advantages
Total molecular breakdown of asbestos fibers
Hermetically sealed process with multilayer safety systems
Ideal for remediation zones, legacy dump sites, and industrial cleanup projects
Generation of clean electricity and high-yield hydrogen
Compliance with EU Standards
FS Green A is designed to meet the increased requirements for the handling of hazardous substances:
Asbestos Directive (2009/148/EC):
Personnel is never exposed; the process is fully enclosed and automated
No incineration or toxic emissions; conforms to zero-pollution benchmarks
IED Directive (2010/75/EU):
Waste Framework Directive (2008/98/EC):
Recognized as advanced material recovery within the waste hierarchy
Classified as an environmentally restorative project addressing historic pollution
EU Taxonomy for Sustainable Activities:
Full compliance with hydrogen safety and environmental protocols
